David Salsedo

I have served as an ordained pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Chicago since 2006, and I additionally serve as a story facilitator with The Allender Center at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where I trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care.

I am passionate about creating safe spaces for the interplay between the gospel story, our stories of heartache, and spiritual transformation. In particular, I love bringing story work into the church and shepherding men and women from all walks of life into greater healing, wholeness, and freedom. In both my work as a facilitator with The Allender Center and in my church community, I am continually delighted and captivated by how our capacity to love God, our neighbor, and ourselves is enlarged as we tend to the wounded places in our lives alongside a trusted guide.

I currently live in Chicago with my wife and our two children.
